I really do not like writing a review with criticism. I visited this restaurant many times and found the food generally good. My last visit was over 9 months go due to a dish on the menu. II invited friends and talked about the food being quite good.On the last occasion I visited the service was attentive when ordering but once our main was served we were ignored. I tried to get the waiter's attention because my porchetta was dry and I was unable to cut it with my knife, rendering it inedible. When the waiter came back to clear the table it was me pointing out my plate was untouched and the porchetta was so dry I couldn't cut it, he said I will let the chef know. A few minutes later our bill...
Beautiful location, pretty good pizza and friends of mine told me that also other dishes taste really good so i suggest to go and try... the only bad thing is that while we were eating with the food in our mouth a waiter asked us to move to another table because they needed that table for more people... something that in my opinion is really bad to do while people are eating...
Sud is definitely Sydneys Best Italian Restaurant without a doubt. The food is truly authentic southern Italian cuisine prepared with love. The service is outstanding on every occasion and it's a credit to the Manager Peter who runs the restaurant perfectly. If your looking for a great evening out with exceptional food and enjoyable ambience, Sud is the place for you.
We do live the pizzas here, although must admit the last one we had wasn't as good as it had quite a few burnt bits on the crust. We pointed this out to the waiter & he just said he'd let pizza chef know. But no offer of free dessert or any kind of compensation. So we're hoping this was just a one off.

Booked for 5 for a Friday evening. Great ambience and food.Each one of us had a different meal with shared antipasto and mains of Fish, Pork belly, pasta and steak bites. All excellent, great service and so close to home...Well done guysWill be back again
The best thing is to go so far away from Sicily and eating feeling Home! Fantastic food great taste and best Italian place in that area! Really need to be tried! Bravi ragazzi

One of the best Italian restaurants in Sydney. Cannot fault the service and the meals were outstanding. Serving sizes generous as well.

First night in Sydney we found this place and we had some good food The place was busy which is always a good sign. Recommended.
I've been here many times as we are locals, very good Italian on a consistent basis. Very friendly staff and reasonably priced.
