Sufiya's Grill East Meadow

First time experience and it wasn 't that great. It included lots of wait time to be seated, for menus, orders to be taken, food to be served cheque to be delivered. I guess this had a lot to do with what appeared to be stretched waiters. In the future, please try to hire an additional wait staff or two around the holidays to cater for busier times than usual. Additionally, caution should be taken when preparing meals as the lamb shiska baab with brown rice was a tad dry and the first (of the two or three) vegetarian dishes on the menu were advertised without mushrooms but contained them in the actual meal thankfully my aunt noticed and returned the meal since she 's deadly allergic. Sufiya's never fails to impress! For my daughter’s last night before heading back to college, she chose Sufiya's for dinner. We didn’t even need to look at the menu; the moment she mentioned it, my mouth started watering at the thought of kebabs! My daughter ordered the salmon kebab again because we know what we love! I intended to take a picture of my delicious steak, but I was so captivated by its aroma that I completely forgot! The only difference from our last visit was that we had plain rice this time. The best part? I have leftovers—heading home now to enjoy them!

The food was great! Our server was really nice too. It is peaceful in there. I recommend the baklava—prob the best I’ve ever had, the salmon kebab and eggplant dip appetizer. Every dish that came out at our table honestly looked really good and fresh though. I don’t think you could go wrong.
