We recently ordered for the first time for our baby’s 100 Day Celebration. I went in with just a few ideas but no solid concept I told them her name, the colors (red and gold), the celebration, and that I wanted a cute ox. Then told them the type of cake, that I wanted it semi naked, and everything else could be up to the artist.Design: they nailed the design. I was overjoyed when they opened the box. The detail was incredible. Note the gold braid at the bottom! The ox was adorable, too, and I loved the blossom addition. I could tell they put a lot into this cake.Taste: so good! Sugar Cubed is absolutely top notch! They are the sweetest humans with the biggest hearts! I got my best friends baby shower cake made here and it was the best decision I ever made! Not only did it look fabulous it was sooooooo good! I don’t think I’ve ever seen a cake get eaten so fast at a party! I am currently pregnant and having a daughter come January, you can bet I will be using sugar cubed throughout my kids parties as long as they are in business. Small businesses hold a special in the community and Kayla has done an amazing job at this bakery!
This bakery works so BEAUTIFUL! We have been ordering my daughter's cakes/cupcakes for her birthday for the past 2 years and they ALWAYS deliver with design and flavor! These are the best cakes, cupcakes and icing I have ever tasted and everyone who has tasted them has tasted them. Your piping work is superb and the interpretation of what I requested was 100% on point. They will make sure to let you know if any questions will be asked and request photos and references if necessary. I will definitely order from Sugar Cubed again!
Ordered this amazing cake a month ahead of time for nephews birthday. Picked up on day of and it was ready right away and looked even more awesome then I could have imagined. Communication was fantastic and cake was delicious. Such an incredibly talented group of people and all so very kind. Always enjoy stopping by when I have time between work to check out the new treats and they all taste sooo good! Check this bakery out for sure…. it’s my absolute favorite!! Their seasonal cupcakes are so fun and tasty. Its a treat every time I go to downtown Gresham. Plus they also have macarons! For a last minute birthday treat, we stopped by the shop and bought an assortment of treats. Birthday girl loved them and each bite was super YUMMY (See pic below)! Their customer service every time I have gone the shop have been super friendly. Will continue to shop here and perhaps order a custom cake.
Sugar Cubed Cakes is simply the best bakery in Gresham. Every cake they’ve made for me has been incredibly delicious, decadent, and beautifully decorated to my exact description of what I wanted. They did my wedding cake and it could not have been more perfect. They are the sweetest gals working in the shop and I’ve had nothing but good experiences there. Highly recommend to anyone and everyone.
I have used sugar cubed cakes for YEARS and this bakery is hands down my favorite. From our wedding cake to baby showers and now birthday cakes, they nail it every time. I love that they can take my requests and make it into something spectacular. We have been visiting Sugar Cubed for a few years now and have never been disappointed. Every Mother’s Day they sell a box of cookies and macaroons and my wife loves them so each year I get her, my mom and mother in law each a box. Always a huge hit!
