After being disappointed by several lackluster menu choices in the neighborhood, we stumbled upon SugarSalt Espresso. Despite having only a few options clearly marked, the staff were excellent at explaining all the dishes and how they could be customized to be vegan-friendly. I ordered the acai bowl, which came topped with granola, coconut, and fresh seasonal fruit. It was absolutely delicious! They also offered a good selection of non-dairy milk options for coffee. If I lived nearby, I would definitely be a regular customer.
I visited this amazing restaurant in Mortdale for the first time. Despite stiff competition in the suburb, this place stands out with its delightful menu that can cater to various tastes and dietary needs. The cozy and welcoming atmosphere, along with the friendly and accommodating staff, made for a great dining experience. There is plenty of street parking available as well. Both my brunch and my partner's were excellent, and I will definitely be making this my new favorite spot to catch up with friends.
