Sumac Mediterranean Grill (belmont)

This is one of my favorite restaurants in the area. Their hummus is like what I loved when I traveled in the Middle East and their interpretation of moussaka is fantastic. It doesnt have the heavy sauce, rather it is a flavorful tomato base with perfectly cooked meats or veg (both versions are excellent). They get the order right every time, but make sure to stop in, too. The owner and team are wonderful!

The falafel greek salad and hummus are so fresh and tasty! Best falafel in town! Not greasy or dry. Lovely subtle flavoring.

This was delicious food! The Melitzianes Paposakita is excellent. We will definitely make Sumac one of our regulars!! Yummy

Addicted to the falafel wrap. It is a meal for two people, or leftovers. The hummus is delicious. Everything is delicious.

I loved the chunky tzatziki. the shawarma was very flavorful.
