living near harringay has the clear advantage that it is only a few minutes walk from some Turkish restaurants. the much hyped gokyuzu is close, and the Turkish joints of wood green are not too far away. but we usually decide to sumak. we sat along a slightly silly road that doesn't quite know whether it's crouch end or hornsey, we were a bit sceptical when humak first appeared on tottenham lane. but now it is always busy with couples, families and groups of friends native drawn through the value for money, delicious dishes and friendly staff. This Turkish restaurant is still a reliable choice. The food is delicious, well-prepared and nicely presented. There is ample seating, although it can get busy on weekends and be quite loud. The drink selection is somewhat limited, with a few lagers, wines, and other options available. Overall, it's a great spot for families.

Nearly every time we visit family in London we visit Sumak, and everytime the food is lovely. The best thing about the restaurant is the atmosphere as it always has a really lovely buzz about it. Starters are great, and the mains are pretty big. Staff are really friendly and helpful.

It was a great experience from the start, first time eating there but we were greeted in a very friendly manner as if we had been going there for years. The food was fantastic and well priced. had a meal there yesterday evening and really to say that eating was absolutely delicious, but it wasn't all that staff was very friendly and polite, they made our night so comfortable they feel us. another very good point: the place is on! and very clean!

my birthday - I come with 20 of us. each one was super courtesy and flexible, not to mention excellent dining and excellent service! memo was an absolute joy made my celebration even more pleasant. would be 100% recommended and will be absolutely back!

This place is amazing! Really high quality food for a very reasonable price. Food is consistently up to a high standard and the staff there do a phenomenal job. It's a popular restaurant with a calm and comforting atmosphere.

I really enjoy the delicious food at this restaurant, especially their Adana kebab. The service is also excellent with friendly staff who greet guests warmly.
