We had our work Christmas party here last year but it was only about 15 people. This year we've grown tremendously to about 45 attending. Which left a bit of a daunting task to find a place not already booked or that was willing to take on that large of a reservation Decided to check with Sumo after being turned down by several other establishments. Although they seemed a little scared of that big of a group, they happily took the reservation. I too was a little nervous about how things would go but they surpassed my expectations. I took my wife here for her birthday, along with my family, and I’m happy to report that we all had a fantastic time. Our server Joey was fine, but things really got exciting when our chef Richard arrived. He literally ignited a fire as he fired up the grill and began cooking. He also showed off some impressive skills with his cooking tools. At one point, he tossed pieces of food into our mouths, much to our delight. As the evening progressed, he continued to entertain us with a few more surprises.
This little gem may seem to always have a bit of a wait, but once your seated and the showmanship starts you will have forgotten the stomach was just in kill mode! We 've eaten here on several occasions throughout the years and have never been dissatisfied! If it 's not family owned then they 've done a very impressive job at retaining the same crew for years!!! Only 4 ? 's due to the renovation still going on, lol I think it started about 6 months after they opened lol,
I had an amazing experience! If you have the chance, request Chef Peetie. I've had some really tasty hibachi and encountered excellent hibachi chefs, but Chef Peetie combines both. He was hilarious from beginning to end, yet still warm and approachable. The couple who dined with us also agreed he was one of the best. Upgrading to the fillet is definitely a smart choice, and the sushi rolls were delicious too. My whole family loved it, so I can't wait to go back soon! Réservez une table maintenant
I've dined here multiple times, and each experience has been wonderful. Tonight was no exception. Our waitress Sienna was incredibly attentive and friendly, but the real highlight was Petey, our chef! Petey, a stand-up comedian by profession, entertained us with puns and jokes while he cooked, making the whole experience both hilarious and delicious. I highly recommend visiting this restaurant and requesting Petey as your chef.
This is the place to come for the best entertainment one can find around? as long as you have Danny as your chef. He?s a comedian who makes the experience so enjoyable. The food is also fresh with large portions. Everything was delicious including the sushi which is so fresh!! This place is a winner!!
Our server, Katie, was exceptional! She delivered our orders promptly and was very attentive and friendly. The chef, Eli, prepared fantastic dishes, and it was a pleasure chatting with him while he cooked! We’ve dined here before, and we will certainly return. The drinks were also delightful! 10/10!
We had a fantastic dinner tonight. The chef was hilarious and truly made our dining experience a perfect 10! The shrimp and steak were incredibly flavorful and tender.
