Sunday In Saigon

After walking from King Street on a hot, sunny day, I wanted a light meal and chose the $12 lunch special. I ordinarily don't order deep fried food, so the roll was a special treat. I decided it was the perfect time to try banh mi for the first time, so I can't rate it as compared to others. I just know it was really good. If you're planning to shop at Trader Joe's, Sunday in Saigon is right next door.

The chicken broth may be the best I ever had in the DC area. Summer rolls are good. They usually use compostable and recyclable removal containers and utensils, which is a big plus!

Lunch here today: pork bellway mi, crispy shrimp rolls, cold shrimp salad. Everything was delicious! Service was fast and friendly. We'll go back.

I didn't order much, but I definitely come back to try more. Good mood, easy to order and pay. For me is authentic Vietnamese food.
