As a Norwegian visiting the UK, I can confidently say that the fish and chips at this restaurant are truly excellent. I have tried many fish dishes in my lifetime, but none have compared to the freshness and quality of this meal. The fish is clearly not frozen and is perfectly cooked - moist on the inside, with a crisp and flavorful outer layer. The portion sizes are generous, but who can complain about being well-fed? Additionally, the waitress was friendly and welcoming, with a smile that epitomized the English charm I had always imagined. I would give this experience a perfect 10/10 rating.
I am extremely disappointed that this restaurant has declined in quality. My family and I used to frequent this place for takeout and dine-in meals, and everything was always delicious. However, tonight we went in early hoping for a freshly cooked meal. The chips were overdone and not tasty, and the fish was very greasy. We paid £20 for this meal, and I don't think we will be returning anytime soon. I did notice that there was a different chef cooking this time.
So good we came back and this time I took pictures. Great Fish and Chips, I had the Extra Large Cod, it was cooked perfectly and tasted delicious a nice clean crisp batter. My partner had the large cod which looked just as nice. We had pickles, mushy peas and tartare sauce on the side. Lovely staff and a nice Atmosphere made for a great meal. Won't hesitate to return. Its my new favourite fish and chip shop. Service: Dine in
I had the most delicious scampi I've ever eaten at this restaurant! The waitress was fantastic and we even got a complimentary starter. I highly recommend this place for a dinner out. The food, service, and atmosphere all deserve a 5-star rating. I also recommend trying the Cod and Chips, it's a must-have dish! Réservez une table maintenant
