We were in search of a great place for brunch and we certainly found it! The restaurant offered typical diner dishes, but with a much higher quality than expected. The pancakes were perfectly cooked - fluffy yet not too thick. The home fries had a delicious flavor. My son ordered the Belgian waffle and not a single crumb was left on his plate.
The service at this restaurant was extremely slow. We had to wait an hour for breakfast, and this has happened two times now. We will be going back to Colonial in Fords, as you can't beat their service. The quality of the food, service, and atmosphere at this restaurant were all rated as a 1 out of 5.
This classic diner is perfect for dining in the current climate, as it already has glass separators between tables. The food is fresh and the service is good. They prepared my order exactly as I asked. Eating here is definitely worth it. Overall, it is a good choice.
