My friend and I decided to get a bite to eat here based on the Yelp reviews, and we weren't disappointed. If you're looking for a cheaper/fast option in the area, this is the best. This restaurant is small and meant mostly for pickup. Though, since there was no one sitting on the small bar with two chairs next to the drink machine, we decided to stay. Super Fresh! I can’t remember the last time I had green lettuce on a gyro or REAL gyro meat. I had 11 minutes to spare waiting for the train and thought Gyros take seconds I’ll order one. Time was ticking and I was prepared to gift my purchase to someone else as I didn’t want to miss my train! LUCKY for me with seconds to spare they wrapped it and I was in my way! When I took my first bite I couldn’t believe the ingredients...moist delicious meat, fresh veggies and hot yummy pitaI was expecting dry meat and soggy fillings I am so glad I tried the Gyro at the Philly Chesse Steak joint-you should too!!
We ordered mozzarella sticks, a full cheesesteak with all the toppings, and a whiskey. The mozzarella sticks were the typical frozen variety you find at warehouse stores and weren't cooked perfectly, but the homemade marinara sauce that came with them was outstanding. However, the real highlight was the cheesesteak, which definitely deserved five stars. The bread was soft, and the sandwich was well-constructed. The meat was tender, and the whiskey was just right—not overpowering at all. We ordered enough for both of us, and they kindly split it for us. Overall, it was an excellent cheesesteak!
I ordered a Philly cheesesteak and got a sandwich overloaded with steak but hardly any cheese. When I called to complain, the cook explained that the cheese is cooked into the meat and what I was seeing was just mayo. I’m quite disappointed. If I lived nearby rather than ordering through Uber Eats, I would have gladly brought it back. I believe people in Philly would be disappointed by this.

The prices are a bit higher, but well worth it! Every ingredient is fresh and top quality, served hot and loaded with cheese just as expected. The cheese fries stand out—they use real cheese and don’t cut corners with cheap sauce. Overall, the food is excellent and reasonably priced. Seating is limited, but being right next to the station makes this place perfect for a quick lunch or dinner!
I ordered a cheesesteak to go, and the staff was really friendly over the phone. When I got home, I was in cheesesteak heaven! It was prepared exactly the way I like it. I will definitely be coming back. My only regret is that I didn't ask for the woman's name when I called back to compliment the delicious food.
I tried a cheesesteak with peppers and onions from Philly Cheesesteaks, and it surpassed all my expectations. The flavor was amazing, and I'm so happy that their menu offers such a fantastic option without having to travel all the way to Philly.
The food was exceptional. The Jersey Beach Friars were fantastic, and the nuts were incredible. I also loved the wide selection of cheese options they provide.
