Entre l'Alpette et la Cote2000, ce charmant petit chalet est situé à une altitude de 1800m. Il se trouve à la frontière du domaine skiable de Megève et offre une vue sur un paysage enneigé immaculé. Le chalet dispose d'une petite terrasse en bois et d'une plus grande si le temps le permet sur la neige avec des rayons de soleil et des couvertures. Nous avons d'abord visité pour le café et le thé le matin, mais avons été attirés par la mise en place déjà préparée dans la cuisine. In between Alpette and Cote2000 this nice little chalet is situated at 1800m altitude. it is on the border of the Megève ski area and looks out on a virgin snow white landscape. The chalet has a little wooden terrace and a bigger one if weather permits out on the snow with sunbeams and blankets.We first visited for coffee and thee in the morning but were lured back by the mise en place already prepared in the kitchen. roast of chicken, tartiflette, croûte and much more local dishes are served. service is good, food tastes great.Skip Mt d'Arbois to visit this place! You will not be disappointed. And skiing at Rochebrune/Alpette/Cote2000 is fun also for a day.
We have been here many times for lunch and the food is excellent, Today, we arrived at 2.45pm, just for a drink after a walk. Many empty tables, not set up for lunch, we assumed an afternoon drink would not be an issue. We sat at a table, no-one came for 20 mins. Not an issue we were chilling out in front of the view. A waitress then arrived and told us they were fully booked and we could not ‘just’ have a drink. Fine, we left. Shame as it is a lovely spot. You have to go downhill to see the menu, so not the easiest to get to, certainly by ski.
Bonne nourriture, service impoli. La nourriture était bonne bien que le menu soit limité principalement aux options de viande. Le menu était en français et les serveurs à l'heure du déjeuner n'avaient pas d'attention pour les clients arrivant dans leur restaurant. Après avoir demandé trois fois sans réponse, nous nous sommes simplement assis quelque part. La dame attendant notre table était gentille.

Good food, rude service. The food was good although the menu was limited to mostly meat options. The menu was in French and the waiters at lunch time didnt had an eye for anybody arriving at their restaurant. After asking three times without a response we just sat down somewhere. The lady waiting our table was nice ;)
C'est l'un de ces endroits pour lesquels vous voulez faire une randonnée d'une heure. Contrairement aux endroits populaires à côté des remontées mécaniques, celui-ci dispose d'une petite terrasse confortable, d'une hôtesse sympathique et terre à terre, de bons plats et d'une vue imprenable !!
This was our place to come to have coffee and Genepi in the afternoon.The service is very friendly,when you come the second time they recognize you.The weather was great so we were always sitting outside.We will definetly come back next year.They have oysters too!!
Beautiful scenery and such a nice restaurant. We went there after our morning walk and it was perfect for recovering our energy. Chef Olivier did everything to please us. Really kind staff and nice food. Better to book in advance!

This is one of these places you want to hike 1 hr for. Unlike the popular places next to the lifts, this has a small and cosy terras, friendly and down to earth hostess, good food and a stunning view!!
We had lunch at Sur les Prés and it was very nice. The food was very good and the service was friendly and efficient. A good place for a stop in the alpages.
