We called in on a Saturday morning. The restaurant was busy but you could still get a table ok. We were seated and provided menus. The menu is interesting and the food we saw got me excited. We were asked for our orders about 10 minutes later. We got our coffees about 20 minutes after being seated but after 50 minutes still no food. Other people came in and were seated around the same time as us and received their food, but after a group of 6 walked in around the time we got our coffees and then got their food we decided enough was enough. Location certainly is very appealing and the view is a huge attraction. The customer service very friendly and the eggs in a small skillet with goats cheese or chorizo a little different but wow very filling and comforting after a long night and drive to Brisbane Airport to drop grandson off. A perfect choice by my daughter to start the day. Great coffee which I must have so highly recommend if you need that kick start. It was busy but waiting time short and well worth just embracing the sunshine and surf. Close to Surfers Central so parking not an issue and we managed a 3 hour spot across the road so we could cruise the water edge and watch the beach goers. Great cafe for locals or visitors...
Enjoyed another beautiful Sunday morning breakfast at Sandbar.Perfect day, best location and ayummy healthy breakfast. The Charlie Brown smoothie bowl wasmy choice today - oh soooo yummy.My husband's choice was the PulledPork Benedict which he thought enjoyed.The staff are friendly, welcoming andhappy! We have never been disappointed with our meals or the service AND very importantly I must addtheir coffee is very good!Absolutely recommend Sandbar for brekkie, brunch or lunch.
On arrival the waitress at the door told us to sit anywhere and she'll bring some menus over.After a wait of 10 minutes with no service, while people seated after us were served, we flagged down a waiter to ask for some menus.The waiter, Lucas, then told us we'll have to move to a smaller table, as they were so busy (it was approximately a third full...) before he could bring some menus.That's the point we left and made this review.

Fantastic food, great service & nice setting! I had a burger, total flavour explosion, this is what a burger should be. Reasonably priced. My only complaint was we were there on a Sunday at around 6pm and the DJ was a bit loud for dining it was hard to hear people talking at my own table. It was nice having the dj there the volume just needed to be slightly lower.
Good location and great food. Healthy delicious and reasonably priced. Went there for lunch as it was convenient and looked ok but was blown away by their Hawaiian Poke Bowls. Healthy, nutritious, filling and tasty. Went back the following evening for dinner and the ribs/calamari were great. Recommend if you are in Surfers.
Recommend the Poke bowl and the Piggie smells burger. Great customer service and a pod vibe. We dined at 3pm with it getting busier around 4pm. Definitely recommend
walked in to this restaurant near Surfer's Paradise beach for brunch. ordered the omelette and a coffee to keep me going for a few hours walk.

Great breakfast and lunch at Sandbar. This was our go to restaurant during our stay in Surfers and it didn't disappoint.
