Just a few minutes ago, I walked into this restaurant hoping to order Korean barbecue. When I arrived at the front desk, there was no one at the register. After waiting for about 35 seconds, a woman with a rather unpleasant demeanor came out from the kitchen, wearing a scowl. I attempted to ask her for the menu, but she quickly interrupted me, gesturing and saying, “We don’t serve sushi.” I clarified that I wasn’t asking for sushi; I simply wanted to see the menu. There's no sushi chef right now, and they're serving a limited Korean food menu.Still the wait staff (likely the owners) was gracious, and helpful. They looked a bit surprised to see an American family with kids devour Bibimbup and Bulgogi. Food is tasty, but a low marks on presentation. They're using an old menu, according to the waitress, so dont really know what the prices are (Its not that hard to print out, or even hand write something and make like 10 copies and slip into plastic sleeves). I would give this place zero stars if possible! The service was terrible from the moment we entered the restaurant with our kids (who were quiet and well-behaved). The server—who might have been the owner—gave us a disapproving look right away. This has happened to me twice, and my friend's family experienced it too. Throughout our visit, she constantly frowned at our table. Additionally, the bathroom was incredibly dirty and smelled awful. I would definitely not recommend this restaurant to anyone.
Waitress did not have a mask on including employees. There were no menus, and the food choices were written on the wall and was extremely hard to read. The choices were very limited and the food was subpar, the food didn’t even come quickly. The shows playing on the TVs were loud and distracting and the seats were uncomfortable. This restaurant is a joke, they don’t even have sushi, and the restaurant is called sushi box. I will never come back here.

I went in Nader the pretense this was a Japanese restaurant? Oh hell no!! So the menus are random signs on the wall not in English! They don't serve any sushi of any sort! They mainly serve Korean dishes. Which makes no friggin sense! A place called sushi box that no longer serves sushi?!? They stopped serving sushi roughly 2 years ago when the pandemic started and don't have the staff to serve sushi?! Then change the damn name!
Hwe Du Bap ROCKS MY WORLD! Wonderful variety of veggies and fish. I typically ask for only salmon and octopus, which they will do for you. I drive hours to get this dish! Crazy foodie here! Of course, I make a pit stop at H-Mart too, just down a block!
