Friendly owners in a very small but very busy restaurant. We were one of the first people for dinner and it filled up almost immediately which was odd since it was a Tuesday evening. The sushi came out quickly for only having a single sushi chef. We were impressed with the nicely sized cuts of fish in the set menus. My tuna and salmon were fresh and tasty as was all the fish on my husband's sushi/sashimi set. My favorite was the white tuna. My daughter is somewhat of a miso connoisseur and she destroyed her bowl before I got a chance to try it but my husband seemed to enjoy it as well.
This is a restaurant that specializes in Sushi. If you want other food, or planning to go with someone who doesn't like sushi, I would consider other options. With that being said, this is the best sushi around. The menu is fairly simple, traditional. You won't find the fancy modern stuff with all the odd names and sauces, but you will find expertly cut Sashimi and delicious rolls. A real treat if you enjoy the different flavours and textures great cuts of fish offer.
