On the downside: 1. The portion sizes were on the smaller side. 2. Some of the sashimi had a slightly off smell. My wife and I are sushi enthusiasts; we often make our own sushi and have dined in numerous sushi restaurants in NJ and NYC. Based on our experiences, I would rate this place a solid 4 out of 5.
I wouldn’t classify it as cheap. There are definitely more affordable sushi options in NJ, but as we all know, lower price often means lower quality. All of the sushi we ordered was fresh, except for a few slices of sashimi, which I believe shouldn’t have been served, leading me to take away one star. However, the salmon sashimi was exceptional.

Food was great, but on top of that we had an amazing waitress. Not only did she surprise me with paying attention to our bickering of orders we might want, she also learned our names on her own, without us even telling her. She addressed us by name and overall made the experience complete. We came at 9pm and didn't leave till 10:30, but not once did we feel rushed or judged during our dinner. 10/10 would come again, and recommend for those who enjoy sushi, and excellent customer service!
Stopped in this place after it is recommended by a co-lord at Macy's. She said she knew the owners and how great the food was. She was absolutely in place! Sushi was fresh and tasty, and the spicy rolls have the perfect amount of kick. Was really delicious. It also seemed like a lot of customers we had with name and they had a big report. It made me feel like we stumbled in a place that was really loved by the community. I'll be back.
The restaurant is in an unusual location, but it's definitely worth a visit. The staff is friendly, and the decor is lovely. The food is excellent, especially the hibachi meal prepared by an entertaining chef. Portions are generous. I will certainly be back. It’s a bit on the pricier side, but our dinner included soup, salad, an appetizer, duck, and dessert. It was a fun experience, perfect for a small group.

Our favorite sushi restaurant. The owners, Sue and Wayne, are warm, accommodating hosts who make us feel like part of the family. The wait staff is attentive and by now knows my wife's and my dining idiosyncrasies. The food is excellent. We have our assortment of favorite rolls--Autumn Roll (for salmon lovers) and Super Eel Roll. Highly recommend.
I never considered dining here before, and I regret that I didn't try it sooner. I've passed by this place countless times. The atmosphere was amazing, and the food was incredible! My friends and I have unanimously decided that this will be our new spot for our monthly dinner dates. I can't wait to return!
