Cute unassuming sushi spot that isn't too busy! The server was kind and open to answering all my questions about what was and wasn't gluten free. I got the sashimi mix with steamed rice and didn't have any issues. The fish itself was fresh and for the price, I was satisfied with the portions. The chefs were also receptive about cleaning the cutting board and knives for my meal. This is definitely going to be my go-to neighborhood spot for sushi now. I don't understand why some people are leaving negative comments about Sushi Land. It makes me wonder if any of these critics have ever enjoyed sushi in Japan. And just to be clear, I'm not talking about crunchy rolls or any other types of rolls—those aren't real sushi. The fish here is incredibly fresh, likely the best you can find in Southern California. It feels almost as if they sourced the fish directly from Tsukiji market. This place is definitely an underrated hidden gem. I highly recommend dining in!
This place is amazing! As a vegan, I often find Japanese restaurants challenging, but that's not the case here. While it's not exclusively vegan, they offer more vegan options than most other Japanese restaurants I've visited. Their vegetable curry is quite delicious, and they even have natto rolls, which are rare to find. Additionally, there are various other dishes that are either vegan or can be made vegan. The staff is incredibly friendly, and the prices are very affordable.
This place is a hidden gem! Everything here is VERY reasonably priced and tastes amazing. This place is a little bit of a hole in the wall, but it has a family business feel and excellent service. Parking is not an issue at all and inside is festive and very clean. I highly recommend the spicy tuna rolls and miso soup!

This is small sushi restaurant in the strip mall with CVS. We had various sushi, sashimi, hand rolls, miso soup, and couple of different udon. Fresh fish and everything tasted good. Service was a bit lacking, but that's not my priority! Will be back soon!
The sushi and sashimi are outstanding. The chef is highly skilled in traditional Japanese techniques. The restaurant is cozy, featuring four tables and a sushi bar. I highly recommend Sushi Land!
Food is excellent and all for a great price! Service is really fast and hospitable. I loved how small and cozy the restaurant was. It felt authentic! Go for the lunch specials!
This authentic Japanese restaurant, owned by Japanese chefs, offers high-quality sashimi and outstanding service in a wonderful atmosphere. It's definitely worth the drive!
