Our family decided to have a girls' night out and we were craving sushi. We came across this restaurant which had a decent crowd, but we were only able to sit outside due to the cold. Regardless, we took the outdoor seats. The menu offered a good variety of options, with some dishes being better than others. We ended up ordering three sushi roll plates and two hot dishes, all of which were cooked well and presented beautifully. The only downside was a slight issue with the rindings on the side.
Yesterday night here. photo below is a few of the escapes we started with. the food was excellent and of good quality. the place was also very beautiful, located directly at the marina. service has a lot of space to improve. the waitresses were a bit lost and have constantly forgotten our orders, the wrong orders placed on the table and received a bad amount of customer service. restaurant is not licensed so they need to bring their own beer/wine
High prices inadequate service. They served first dish for one of us but no sight of the other persons two small dishes until we asked after half an hour....even then no apology....they didn't know they hadn't served them and had to ask what was ordered.It happened the last time we were there years ago and another patron also had to check where their meals were this time after waiting longer than usWon't go back.
I discovered this sushi restaurant during my recent travels and decided to give it a try. The sushi looked very fresh and I was impressed by the huge rolls, particularly the spider rolls. These rolls were filled with delicious soft-shell crab and cool ingredients. I bought a few to take with me on the go and found them to be incredibly tasty when I finally had a chance to enjoy them. Overpriced and terrible food. Would not recommend this place to my worst enemy. If I could give it no stars I would.Huge red flag when a Japanese restaurant doesn’t give you wasabi and ginger with your sushi.So called “fresh kingfish sashimi” was absolutely disgusting and inedible.Huge disappointment, left most of our food on our plates.
I really don't know how to get stars in this restaurant. bad hygiene, uncooked sushi rice, just one table in front of us and we waited for our first dish. we checked with the waiter and he said minen. stern is for the waterfront view. really disappointed. will not go back.
