It was the kind of day where everything was harder than it needed to be and I found myself starving at 9 pm. Not wanting junk, with a few minutes to spare saw this place open with people eating on a Monday night. Decided to give it a try and was glad I did.I ate in. The waitress was friendly and welcoming. Told me there was lots of time before they closed.Tried a bento box, teriyaki beef, sushi, miso soup and fresh tempura.The food was fresh, well made and served well.What more could I ask for?Would definitely go again.
A first time visit to this small sushi joint on Main Street. Very friendly service. Rainbowcrab had the California roll lunch box and really enjoyed it. She said the beef from the teriaki was so good. I had the chicken karage which was a large serving and had a nice crunch. I also had a special roll with yam tempura, asparagus, avacado and a black sesame sauce. This was excellent. We shared a kale gomae which we both enjoyed more than the spinich. We would return
There are so many restaurants on Main Street and I don't think I have enough time here in Vancouver to try them all. My friend and I planned to go to Sushi Mania. However, she made a mistake and we went to Sushi Main instead. I don't know how I feel about this place. The sashimi wasn't very chilled. It seems a little too room temperature. The appearance of the sashimi looks ok, but it's just too warm. It tastes fine, but just too room temperature.
Every time my wife and I visit our daughter in Vancouver, this is the first place I want to go for lunch to get my West Coast sushi fix. For less than $20 you can get a fantastic lunch box . The ambiance is unassuming and the service is friendly and efficient. The food is of excellent quality and freshly prepared and filling. Value for money is unprecedented! Lots of people seem to come in for take-out.Can't wait for our next visit.

We ordered spicy salmon roll, spicy tuna roll, miso soup, and takoyaki. While the miso soup and takoyaki was decent, the spicy salmon and tuna rolls were not so great. Neither of them were spicy at all and were weirdly… warm??? They were also kind of soggy and mushy. The prices were also compared to other sushi places. Overall, it was decent.
This restaurant serves incredibly fresh and delicious food! Everything is made to order, not prepared in large batches. The ingredients are super fresh and the high quality really comes through in the flavors. I highly recommend the lunch boxes - both the salmon teriyaki and BBQ saba were exceptionally delightful.
I did not feel great an hour or so after eating here. The Sashimi and Nigiri were prett fishy and a bit off-color. I happened to peer into the kitchen and after seeing it the food quality made sense.

This is the second time I've been hereI would say the decor is ok and I thought the sashimi was great actually.
Pretty damn good surprisingly! I decided to stop in since I was in the neighbourhood.
