Sushi Maki - Réservation de table

Have been faithfully ordering from Sushi Maki since we moved to the area in 2014. Wonderful, family owned operated business for which I am incredibly grateful to have the pleasure to patronize. From our first experience, whereupon I was a few months pregnant, and the owner graciously ensured everything I ordered was pregnancy safe (even going out of her way to have the salmon seared etc , through dine in visits with my family pre-pandemic to regular takeout and requests for “fish bubbles” (Ikura: salmon roe from my girls now we adore everything about Sushi Maki. This is our favorite Sushi place in south Seattle. It’s easily the best value as far as cost/quality of anywhere I’ve been. They have a high variety menu of rolls and all the staples for Nagiri/Sashimi. What makes this place is the generous cuts of fish, and decent (but reasonably priced) Sake selection. There are places in West Seattle with greater selection of fish, sake, and better trained staff (On average) but we come back here weekly because its got a down to earth vibe and has the most reasonable prices.

I have been a customer of this place for more than 3 years so needless to say I do like it a lot buuut the lady answering the phone is borderline rude, the way she answers the phone and rushes you to answer and the whole interaction overall is rude. Every time I call I wish the male person who also works there answers the phone… he is much nicer! No complaints about the food but their customer experience needs LOTS of improvement.

The sushi here is truly excellent! I just wish the customer service could be improved a bit. There's a male staff member whose name I can't recall, but he's really friendly. Unfortunately, the female staff member isn't as welcoming. She tends to rush through phone calls, and when you arrive at the restaurant, she doesn't greet you warmly. Despite this, the sushi is consistently a 10/10! It's definitely the best spot around! Réservez une table maintenant

My family and I really enjoy Sushi Maki. The staff is always friendly, and the wait time is never too long. The sushi consistently tastes amazing. My personal favorite is anything with eel, while my husband loves the salmon, and my kids are fond of anything with crab and shrimp.

Abrasive great way to run a good customer away belittling their sush knowledge instead of educating them. Went from going to order to walking out I'm minutes due to willingness to not help.

Great sushi with good portions and great service!! Very friendly and very accommodating to changes due to allergies. Can’t wait to go back.

probably in my top 3 sushi spots and I eat a bunch of sushi. the options with cream cheese are amazing.
