Sushi Maru - Réservation de table

I ordered the negihama roll at this restaurant and mentioned to the server that it was missing scallions. The server informed me that she would have to show the chef in order to bring me some scallions. When she returned, she insisted that there were scallions in the dish and that she could not provide me with more without an additional charge. She pointed out one or two very small pieces, which were hardly sufficient. Later on, she came back and mentioned that her manager had said the same thing. The service was excellent, but I found it strange that there was a dispute over something that would only cost the restaurant .50¢ to provide. Although everything tasted good, it was disappointing...

I just wanna preface by saying the service was really good. But the food was just really overpriced. The dishes did not reflect in the quantity and taste with the price points given.I had the Bulgogi beef roll, and there was very little meat at all. It was mostly filled with rice and vegetables. For $17 for one roll I expect for it to be more substantially filled with the Bulgogi.

Sushi Maru definitely has a mixed reaction for good reason. The food is great, and their sushi chefs know what they're doing. I guarantee you'll be satisfied with what you eat. What you won't like are the prices, mainly the up charges on things like drinks and sides, 3.50 per soda. Réservez une table maintenant

White people sushi is how I would describe it. I didn’t have a bad experience food was just mid and over priced.Example Sarione in Tampa has galbi lunch special for $17.99 which gives you way more food and it’s a Korean restaurant not a Korean/Japanese combined restaurant

I have visited many sushi restaurants in the area, but this one is definitely the best. The food is delicious, the service is excellent, and the chefs are very friendly. I thoroughly enjoy dining here.

The sushi, ginger salads, and edamame at this restaurant are amazing. The service was quick and excellent, thanks to Jonah! This place is a hidden gem in Brandon. We will definitely be coming back.

Seriously this is the go to spot for sushi and Brandon if you want something absolutely delicious fresh and authentic.
