Tried this place for the first time. It's pretty small, only tables, and nothing fancy, but seems to do a fairly good take out business. I am generally suspicious of sushi places that offer other food, in this case Korean, but overall, it was...not bad. I ordered the sushi dinner, which did not come with the standard tempura, which I didn't mind because I don't like deep fried food, they included ebi sunomono instead. The sushi and sashimi pieces were on the small side. The miso soup was very good, as was the appetizer edamame. It also came with spring rolls, which I found a little odd. They were pretty greasy. Overall, it was just okay.
We have visited MK Sushi twice in the last few months. It is by far the best tasting sushi in Mission and the service is outstanding. They serve Japanese food with some Korean dishes. Today we had Deep Fried Dynamite roll, Spicy Chicken Ramen soup,...Bulgogi Bibimbop and the Chicken lunch special. The food arrived quickly at our table and the taste was outstanding. Sushi MK may be a bit off the beaten path, but it offers delicious food at reasonable prices. My wife and I dined there twice and thoroughly enjoyed our meals. While my wife is not a fan of the black seaweed wrap commonly used in sushi, they were accommodating and offered to make a soy wrap instead. The miso soup was one of the best I've ever had, and we were pleased to see Korean dishes on the menu as well. Overall, we highly recommend this restaurant.
