This restaurant is quite small. We waited about 20 minutes for a booth; we could have sat outside, but it was pretty cold on a Saturday night, even with the outdoor heating. Once we were seated, we were asked what we would like to drink, and we initially just asked for water. I browsed the menu and decided to order a decent variety of rolls from the all-day Happy Hour section. Unfortunately, our waiter never returned, so I had to flag him down. I ordered the rolls and a pitcher of Sapporo beer, which was $9.99 compared to $2.99 for a pint—it just made more sense to get the pitcher. The rolls eventually arrived, and they were all delicious. This is my second time ordering delivery from Oji Sushi. I really like their menu and appreciate the veggie options for sushi. What I liked the most of this time was the deep fried aged tofu. Omg it was so soft inside and perfectly crunchy outside. TheAsian fries were well seasoned as well. Crunchy and tasty. The rolls were not something special but they were well prepared. Thefood arrived quickly and as expected. Except that it was missing sauce for the aged tofu. But I really recommend that aged tofu,yummy! Next time it would be nice if they put a safety seal or seal the package instead of hand it loosely and open to thedriver.
Oji Sushi Sake Bar has decent sushi for such an affordable price! I got the California roll, Salmon sushi, Pacific roll, and the Salmon Crazy Roll. The Salmon Crazy Roll $16) includes spicy tuna, shrimp tempura, cucumber, avocado, salmon crunch onion. I thought this roll was just OK. We did get our food delivered to us, so it might have changed the overall taste in our order! California roll $6) was great the Salmon sushi 2 pieces $5) were surprisingly delicious! We also got the Pacific Roll $15) which came with tuna, salmon, yellowtail, krab, avocado, and cucumber!
I've visited this restaurant twice (I'm not a resident of LA) with a year between my visits. The food is fantastic for the price, and the service is decent. However, they should improve the demeanor of the person delivering the food to the table—the food arrives quickly, but without any friendliness. Despite this, I still awarded a 5-star review because I had a wonderful experience. It's definitely a place I'll return to!

On the upside, the yellowtail was outstanding—I only wish I had ordered more. The katsu was expertly fried and complemented perfectly by the right amount of sauce, though the vegetables were a bit overcooked. The spicy tuna on crispy rice was unforgettable, and I will definitely be ordering it again!
While seated at my table, I noticed the waiter appeared confused and kept leaving and returning. After waiting a long time, I had to get up and ask another staff member to take my order. It was a frustrating experience.
Food here is mostly pretty good. I always get a bento set, the spicy chicken is my go to choice. Steak was a bit overdone, don?t recommend that. Sushi is really good for the price points.
Caution! The photos on Oji Sushi Sake’s menu do not accurately represent the rolls. I had to cancel my order because the roll I received was completely different from what I expected.

I recently had lunch at Oji Sushi Sake near my workplace. They are great at accommodating groups of more than six people. I placed my order and enjoyed a delicious meal.
