This place has gone downhill fast. My family typically go to Sushi One to celebrate birthdays. This will be our last time going. Apparently, the restaurant has new management and they have the complete playbook on how to fail and they are executing it toperfection. They don't have a liquor license and are losing alot of money. So to make up for it, they have increased theirprices and have decreased quality. The sushi is no longer BOGO free and they have made the sushi portions much smaller, theyseem to be using frozen vegetables the come out watery and bland, the sauces that they use seem to be bottled sauces that theyadd water to in order to stretch out the amount of sauce and overall, they...
On a rainy day on a Saturday, I arrived in the evening and got sat down pretty quickly after greeting one of the hosts at the front desk. The interior design is pretty decorative, extremely pretty, and well-detailed. I cannot stop looking around because of how pretty the restaurant is.I am satisfied with my food. I ordered a sushi and sashimi meal, the fish is pretty fresh and I am a big fan of eating raw fish. I personally rate the raw fish and I can tell that it is fresh. The meal was truly fantastic, and Lisa provided exceptional service. She took great care of us, and it was a pleasant surprise when the manager or owner remembered us from our first visit. The atmosphere was inviting, the restaurant was clean, and the food was outstanding. We chose to sit outside, which was enjoyable and laid-back, though I did wish that nearby guests wouldn't walk so closely to occupied tables. It can feel uncomfortable when someone brushes past while dining; there’s ample space for everyone to navigate without intruding on others.
I was informed that this place named Sushi One had a change of ownership. It was about time for me to visit this restaurant since I was approximately 5 minutes away. When I came in I was greeted cheerfully by Nam and Jason. I asked to be seated at theSushi bar where there were 2 Sushi Chefs offering me to try their Otoro Belly special. I accompanied it with a Dynamite Shrimp appetizers. I was one of the best combinations that I had for lunch at this location. Kudos to all, I'll be back again.

We stopped here for food after one of the wine walks. The sushi here is some of the best I've had in the Raleigh area. They even have one of my favorite type of rolls, the kind wrapped in cucumber. That can be hard to find. The only thing holding me backfrom 5 stars is the fact that they were out of most of the drinks listed on the cocktail menu. However, the drinks they did haveavailable that day were great????
We loved our Sushi One experience. The service was great and the atmosphere outside was inviting. The Crab rangoon was the best I have had. I ordered the Thai basil chicken and all the vegetables were so fresh and lots of them! We will be back soon.
We haven’t been out to Sushi One for a while. Ordered our regular selections— everything was fresh and delicious. Sushi One is under new management. The new owner is super nice. Our waitress was very friendly. We’re going to be back soon.
My companion and I discovered a variety of vegetarian options to choose from. The server and chef were eager to fulfill our special requests. This restaurant is ideal for dining with friends, couples, or family!
