I'm honestly pretty heartbroken and embarrassed writing this review..Heartbroken because I have been coming to Sushi Plantation for SO long, over ten years ago at their other location across the street. Embarrassed because I have recommended this place to my close friend who then got food poisoning after our visit here on Monday. The server who took our order seemed quite inexperienced and didn't appear to care much about his job or serving customers. He messed up our order more than three times and seemed overwhelmed, struggling to keep track of the items we ordered because he didn’t write anything down. I really wish he had, as it would have made things easier for everyone. Someone should let him know that there's no shame in taking notes to ensure accuracy. Several dishes and sides never arrived, forcing us to reorder after a long wait. When we needed assistance, he genuinely looked annoyed to have to get up from his seat to help us. The food is delicious, but if you're extremely hungry and need it quickly, you might be disappointed, as it takes a long time to prepare. This could be due to the high volume of customers. Visiting the restaurant in person might be a better option than ordering through DoorDash. My order took nearly two hours to arrive, and my husband and kids were so hungry that they said they wouldn't order from here again. Next time, we might just eat in because the food is really good.

Ive ordered from this place twice with DD and both times the dasher was delayed by the restaurant. Feels terrible watching them sit around for another 30+ minutes PAST the 40+ minute stated delivery time. Real shame because its very good sushi. Réservez une table maintenant

This is undoubtedly the best sushi place in Orange County. The sushi is always fresh, and the staff is fantastic! We especially love the SP roll and the New York roll. You really can’t go wrong with any of the options here.

This sashimi is literally insane. Its shocking how good everything ive ever eaten here is. Chefs choice is always creative and delicious too. Best in OC imo
