If you're craving sushi late at night, this isn’t the place to go. I called to order sushi at 8:28 pm and spoke with a gentleman named Dylan. Dylan asked if he could place me on a “brief” hold, but that “brief” hold turned into 10 minutes. I didn’t want to lose my spot, so I called the restaurant on my house phone and got a busy signal. The restaurant closes at 9, and I was already on hold for 10 minutes. I decided to hang up and call back, the phone just kept ringing. I was so annoyed. Sushi Pop is surprising food and great service. We rolled in on the last night of magical dining and really had a wonderful time. High Points: #1 superior service. I can't think of a thing that our server did that was a fault. He was attentive, offered advice and anticipated our needs. #2 Delightful and surprising food. I think we enjoyed the items off the happy hour menu, Buffalo shrimp and the seaweed salad as much as the offerings we sampled for our magical dining experience. A treat for sure. Our party ordered a bunch of different rolls and apetizers to share, and everything was delicious. Our server Makai was impressive and explained everything well and gave informed opinions on the food and drinks. The rest of my party enjoyed the tokushu box the most, but my favorite out of the bunch was the fish and chips roll and the Guac-tail for sure. Based on the description of the ingredients, I felt like the Guac-tail was going to either be a total miss or amazing, and the bartender knocked it out the park with that drink. I've been here twice, will continue to see me for sure. Coincidence have had same waiter. She was awesome because of her knowledge on food and drinks, her recommendations were on point good. Ceviche sushi has been my favorite however I look forward to new items on menu since they change it often. I had a Vietnamese coffee cream brulee that will have me returning just for the dessert. I don't know what is better, the sushi or the cocktails. They have a fun selection of sushi rolls, some of them are incredibly unique and you couldn't expect to find them anywhere else. My favorite is the curry roll. I highly recommend checking this place out, but be prepared to spend
