My family had recommended this place and I'm sure glad they did. The food was Delicious. The presentation was out of this world! I would definitely recommend the Toffee ice cream desert. The atmosphere is nice. There are a lot of regulars that come here. They all talk to each other and the workers as if they were one family. I even took sake shots with the customer sitting next to me at the sushi bar. Mark the Chef, did stunning work on preparing the sushi. Patrick the server, was quick to respond. He was very friendly and I really enjoyed talking to him. After my visit, I'd say this is top 3 on my list of best gourmet sushi that I have visited! Can't Wait for my next visit!
Wanted sushi at the last minute and found this place through google with “high ratings”. First time trying this place and I must say I am very disappointed. I ordered the Cali roll and yellowtail. First off the spicy Mayo has no flavor whats so ever just only spicy! The Cali roll was just as bland and tasted old. I’m not a crab expert but I’m sure it’s suppose to have sweetness to it. Something about that Cali roll was very off. I understand we came in kind a late but there is no need to cut corners and half ash the Cali roll. This is very telling and noted. Will not be coming back.
I've had a lot of sushi in a lot of places. I've had sushi in multiple countries, I've had sushi in many states, but Sushi Rock, and Mark and Colin specifically, are masters of the craft. To say this is the best sushi I've ever had, is something of an understatement. For best experience, sit at the bar and chat with Mark, he's incredible at conversation. Really, if you're in Dallas, stop by. You won't regret it. Much love to Mark and all the talented/skilled staff at Sushi Rock and thank you for the wonderful experience.
Finally tried Sushi Rock and it was incredible. Mimi served us inside the restaurant and she was so nice! This place has excellent rolls. You can tell it's high quality and there were many regulars inside. We got so obsessed with their house smoked Philly Roll, we have done take out there 2 more times in the past week. I would recommend Sushi Rock to anyone. The prices for their normal rolls are very fair also Réservez une table maintenant
