Sushi Shop - Réservation de table

As a former employee, I have some concerns about this restaurant. The owner primarily focuses on sales and cost control, which often results in a decline in food quality and puts a strain on staff. We were not fairly compensated for the workload we faced. The restaurant tries to present itself as upscale "fast food sushi," but the portion sizes are excessively large, and many of the sushi rolls are overly complicated to prepare. It feels like they're using fast food-quality ingredients to create fine dining sushi. This approach can lead to significant stress for employees, who are paid the same as typical fast food workers.

I ordered three dishes today, one of the dishes was spicy salmon poke bowl with brown rice. When I picked it up I was told the dish was spicy tuna. I informed them and they asked me if I was sure that’s what I ordered, of course I was! They scraped off the tuna and replaced it with the salmon. I was totally fine with that. I went home and starting eating my food only to discover that it was white rice ? and there was a huge piece of avocado peel in there. I was very disappointed with my meal.

This in the TOP SUSHI SHOP in Ottawa/Gatineau!!! The other locations need to learn from this place! Other locations don’t put the proper ratio of the ingredients to make the flavour come alive! Will be coming back for sure! Great and friendly staff! Not all sushi restaurants are made the same, and this one stands out! The service was fantastic, and the food looked and tasted amazing, with generous portions. My order was ready on time as promised, and the staff were very friendly. We tried the Diablo, Phoenix, Red Velvet, Black Mamba, and 911 rolls, which were more than enough for three people. The food was okay. The owner seems to save money on sauce, chopsticks, and other cutlery stuff. If you buying a single item avoid this place else get a disgust look. I also didn't like the treatment employees received from owner. Not going to this place again, Aghhh!

The food was fresh and very tasty. The prices are a bit high, but that's to be expected these days. The packaging is quite elegant and aligns with the cost. If you're in Barrhaven and craving sushi, this is an excellent place for takeout!

This is my go-to place when I am craving sushi. I love their poke bowls here, the crispy rice is the best here and is they have a great variety of food on their menu. Expect delicious sushi that is worth the price.

So dirty! Food on the floors, tables, chairs.. Staff unfriendly and sitting around. The place was dead at 6pm. The food wasn’t bad but I was left wondering how clean the kitchen is. Réservez une table maintenant
