Delicious Kaiseki Tasting! My bf and I enjoyed everything they served. The service was great also. They were very attentive, quick to clear the dishes and serve the next course but we never felt rushed. Our server was very kind and patient, explaining the different dishes, how they're to be eaten and what they are. We had booth seating so the atmosphere was very serene and romantic. I had such a great time eating and chatting that I forgot to take pictures. I'll definitely come back in the future! We arrived a few minutes early for our reservation but were seated immediately. There is only street parking in the area so be sure to give yourself time to find a place to park.
The Omakase Chef's Counter at Sushi Taro lives up to its hype for exclusivity, flavor, and freshness. From start to finish, Chef Yamazaki provided an unforgettable experience that blew us away; his creations are truly the peak of Nippon-style presentation and taste. We left extremely satisfied with both the food and the atmosphere that Sushi Taro delivers. PS: Chef's Counter availability can only be made via email, and Sushi Taro lists available days on their website. They do have different (higher end) ingredients for weekend/Friday bookings.
had the omekase sushi experience. wow. it was amazing. a large mix of small plate set menu items mixed with a sashimi course, where they selected their fish from an amazing selection and finished with a sushi course with the same fish selection with rice. it was really incredible. it is a challenge to get a reservation and it is quite expensive, but was a truly unforgettable meal my wife and I will not forget. we'll do this again when we're in dc. I can't judge it high enough if they're a sushi fan. Réservez une table maintenant
This place is a very traditional Japanese sushi restaurant. The dishes are beautiful, the hospitality and service is too notch! I went here for my birthday and it was incredible! I loved the little green tea pudding they gave as a gift, it was the perfect treat to end the meal!
The freshest fish in the city. The king salmon and fatty tuna are unbeatable. My partner and I come make up any excuse to come dine here. We are sushi fiends, and this is one of our very top picks in the DMV. Absolutely awesome and HIGHLY recommend.
on the right side: make reservation! like to happen. this place is not very large and his call has made seats a valuable ware. they go to their own risk. However, it is available. quality and cut is excellent. fresh? they bet. service? fantastic.
Did a restaurant week dinner with friends. Everything was delicious. Decor is beautiful. Worth the price for sure! Réservez une table maintenant
