I'm giving 5 stars to offset the algorithm of the old one star reviewers where their reviews are not accurate anymore (it's not an all you can eat place anymore).I would probably give a 4 star review for better accuracy. The sushi is pretty good. It's not the best in Dutchess county but it's definitely not the worst. I say it's the best in fishkill East fishkill beacon area. It's priced very reasonably, the sushi is always fresh, and it's not sticky fishy. The flavors are awesome. They also have great soups and apps like tempura which are always good. Delivery is really quick and accurate. I get form Grubhub often and never had a wrong order, spill or mess. It also comes in a reasonable time...
I ordered chicken teriyaki and a Bubble Tea online and got it delivered via Uber Eats. I love the Sushi Village in Poughkeepsie, it’s one of my favorite places for chicken teriyaki so I figured Fishkill wouldn’t be that far off. However, this is the worst chicken teriyaki I’ve ever had. The chicken has a lot of veins and tasted like it was reheated or microwaved. It looks like it was ripped apart it wasn’t even cut properly. $20 after tax for just the chicken alone! I don’t mind spending $20 on chicken if the food is good, but it was terrible. It was pretty empty when we came, but honestly it was better than sitting in a packed restaurant. The food was delicious and service was friendly, speedy, and amazing. We were very satisfied with our visit. To top it all off they gave us free ice cream and a discount! For what we aren't sure, but it really made our date night special. We'll definitely be coming back again! Side note, the matcha ice cream they served was by far the best matcha ice cream I've had from ANY place. It was light, and just sweet enough. It was perfect!
I’ve been meaning to review this place for a long time. I’ve been coming here for about a year now, and I’m always impressed with their fast service. The waitstaff seems to know my order by heart because I always get the signature poke bowl with spicy mayo, a detail that really adds that personal touch. It’s a great value, the poke bowl comes out in a bowl that’s about the size of a football helmet and costs under $20. It’s a lot of food and it’s always delicious! Réservez une table maintenant
Sushi village is a wonderful place to dine in, unfortunatly they dont offer all you can eat as often as they used to, however through speaking with the staff (who are very friendly) at this fine establishment they may or may not be adding ramen to the menu authentic japenese ramen that is, from what we spoke of you should be able to order this ramen within the next month or so.
I found a bug in my food, stuck to the roll. When I informed the server, she insisted that the bug must have landed on the food while we were eating, even though it was already dead and pressed onto the roll (that's how rolls are made). I was too disgusted to even take a photo. Additionally, there were also tapeworms in the ikura and salmon. Food rating: 1/5.
The food quality was delicious, and so was the service. However, I was sad to hear that the all you can eat special is no longer available. Also, the wait time can be longer depending on staff size. However, the place also served Japanese ice cream and bubble tea which was a treat compared to other sushi locations.
