This is the best BBQ in the larger Buffalo area, if not all of Western New York. The food is cooked slowly, smoked and prepared over several days, making the trip worthwhile. They serve the best turkey legs in the city, and they are absolutely delicious. My favorite dish is the piggie pie, which consists of layers of French fries or salt potatoes, baked beans, pulled pork, salsa, cheese, and sometimes coleslaw on top. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful, especially for someone like me who was visiting for the first time. The food here is absolutely amazing! I ordered the Heavenly Hog and the Loaded Garlic Bread. The starter might have a different name, but it was full of flavor and had a wonderful crunch. I couldn't stop singing the praises of my main dish. The various components were perfectly balanced, and this might just be the best meal I've ever experienced. On top of that, the prices are very reasonable. There were so many items on the menu that caught my eye, and I can't wait to return to try more!
Corn bread was delicious. Beef brisket was better than most. Nice smoked flavor and tender. Pulled pork not much flavor, not smoked and very dry. I suggest with the pulled pork smother with BBQ sauce. Mac and cheese is good for carbs only. Ribs and turkey sold out by the time I showed up. My fault I was warned. My favorite thing on the menu is the pulled pork. I like to get a whole heap and then I just pile on the sides the potatoes with gravy are delicious! So is the cole slaw. The baked beans are amazing! And you must try the cornbread. The cornbread is so good it 'll make you smack yer momma.The sauces are really good, and if you 're not intolerant to heat, the one they call hot isn 't really so hot.
