I recently visited here with a group of friends - it was our second visit. We returned because we all loved the food and wanted to experience that again. The owner/manager (not sure) is very friendly and willing to help in any way he can.The first visit something went wrong but as it was the first visit I didn't commit the problem to memory so can't advise what it was, however the manager provided us with free dessert to make amends and we gratefully accepted. We had planned to go out but managed to get super lazy and decided to order a home delivery - the whole process could not have been easier. The hardest part was deciding on the menu selection !!.....Now although it is sometime since I have had an Indian meal this meal reminded me just how much I loved Indian Food. We stuck with the classics but the portion size, taste and presentation were just spot on. I LOVED IT !!.....Superb blend of spices with the ability to spice up your order too....This was by far my best experience of an Indian for ages.....I'll be back and I would not hesitate to refer anyone looking for quality to head for Swaad. Very impressed.
Our first experience of Swaad India Zest, and in short, we will definitely be back! Great food with depth of flavour, lamb was tender and well cooked, chicken was succulent and vegetarian options numerous and equally tasty. From the moment we walked in we were made to feel extremely welcome, were thanked for our custom and the waiting staff were extremely attentive at all times. Excellent value food in a modern ambient restaurant. Takeaway available too. This would be very difficult to match. For info. the food was quite hot in spice which was fine by us, but be cautious if you don't like the heat. We will definitely return.
Swaad is a favourite of ours for a quick Indian take away - as yet we have not eaten in. The staff are always fabulous, so friendly and helpful and the service is quick. The food is always good, no matter what dish we try. I am partial to malai kofta and my youngest loves butter chicken both of which Swaad does beautifully. Their naan breads are also delicious. A lovely gesture is the text message you receive the next day from Swaad thanking you for ordering a meal from them and supporting their business. A very impressive eatery and highly recommended!

Last night trip to Swaad Indian was again a great experience. We went with friends after a long time but strangely owner remembered our name and served his great Indian starters and main dishes with same excitement. Butter chicken and methi chicken were standouts with samosas and paneer tikka were just a perfect blend of spices. We like our mains hot and owner catered our likings with perfection as service at this place is exceptional. We are regulars at this place for a reason and will surely be returning soon.

I love Indian food but my wife doesnt like spicy food. Swaad took the hot spice from her food but she loved the flavours. So my so we have now been twice and will go back again.
This was by far my most favorite Indian restaurant in bentleigh! The butter chicken is to die for and the vegi navartian korma is divine! Do yourself a favor and eat there!!

Simply out of this world Amazingly tasty curries I highly recommend the Chicken Korma Magic and the Chicken Tikka pieces are to die for.
