I’ve had rolled ice cream before and was excited to try this place. Mainly the options and reviews is what got me. Unfortunately, as soon as we entered there was this very odd, old dirty mop water smell. I wanted to immediately turn away and say never mind, but they have great reviews. Two employees were sitting down on their devices,opposites sides of the store and the manger prompted them to go to the counters. They were polite, but not super friendly like other reviews said. I heard about this place from my sister, who said they have great rolled ice cream. After my shift at work, I decided to check it out. They offer both regular ice cream and dairy-free soy ice cream. Since I usually don't eat ice cream and have a sensitive stomach, I opted for the soy option. It was okay, but I would recommend trying the dairy option instead. I ordered the So Cal and worker that made my roll was inexperienced. She didn 't know exactly what to put in the So Cal . The So Cal consist of Açaí, Bananas and Honey. She only placed the Bananas in it. I had to tell her that my order has Açaí in it. She looked a little confuse and then asked someone. She began to mix up and spread out my roll; once the roll was fully spread out she wasn 't strong enough to make a complete roll without breaking and crumbling up my rolls. since I became lactose intolerant I have no ice cream. some friends recommended milcheis from loading, it tasted terrible for me! when I found out that charlies had not milk milk( vegan) I had to try! So last night I went with my girls. the ice cream maker asked if I vegan, I said no, I just can't have milk products and he asked if I wanted to completely clean the machine. so he did, and changed every tool he used. I thought it was wonderful to do with him. the ice was delicious, found my little piece sky with great customer service! I'm sure we praise this place very much! it is def my family favorite place for a night of sweet tasty! the personal was so nice and was very generous with my children who beat lol! what they loved! the price was as expected and quite similar to breasters or any icebox! totally recommend the waffel with hand-rolled ice! cheesecake and donut was like the sky on the earth! nick was super and super with suggestions! one must try!
I was disappointed with the ice cream I had at this restaurant. I opted for the frozen yogurt and found the texture to be odd and overly sweet, reminiscent of hardened icing on a donut. The Oreos tasted slightly stale as well. My boyfriend got the premium ice cream, which had a better texture but the flavor seemed artificial.
Today was my first time trying this restaurant and I have to say, my 11-year-old son was right when he said I had to try it. I ordered coconut and mango ice cream with vanilla wafers, Teddy Grahams, and whipped cream. I have to say, it was incredibly delicious. This is now my new favorite ice cream spot.
