First time at this spot. We were a small group of 5 and all of us agreed the food was great, flavorful and fresh. Service was exceptional, friendly professional staff. My initial drink didn't taste good to me it was too strong (not a real drinker). It was no problem they replaced it with something else and gave me the shot on the side so I can use how much I wanted. The real drinkers in the group loved their drink. There was one thing we didn't like, initially there was Rap playing with a lot of profanity, so we asked if they could soften it up a bit and they did so gladly. Ooof, I've never had Chicken and Waffles but let me tell you, I'm glad this place was my first try. The batter of the waffles were fluffed which i like) and the chicken was crisp but also juicy on the inside! There were serving drinks, but nothing special. I'd be going for the food. There was also a DJ playing so it was cute to be with friends and jam out. You're in Melrose so cute lil shops are what's around you I noticed that a lot in LA lol). No one served us since everything is with technology now a days, but the food came out quick warm!
Listen... i live in Long Beach and will happily hop on the 405 to the 110, to the 10, and drive all the way up Fairfax, at 5PM, on Thursday...for thisSo bomb. I had the honey garlic chicken wings +Waffles and a side of shrimp and grits. One bite of those wings, and i immediately started dancing. Matter fact, I danced in my chair the entire time! Everything was good. I was MAD I ate all my food.We all know that one popular chicken and waffle spot in LA... this beats it, by far. Sorry, not sorry.I can't wait to go back!
Everything we tried we really liked. The shrimp and grits was delicious. The honey garlic chicken was bomb!! We also tried the maple chipotle chicken and I just wish it was a spicier.The only reason I’m giving it 4 stars is because you’re only allowed to order through QR code and the process was a bit annoying due to the glitches on some of the items on their website.But I’d eat there again in a heartbeat.Oh and yes the waffles have a light citrus taste@travelingWithAYD

I couldn’t find a way to leave feedback on DoorDash, but I just want to say how much I love you guys! You have the best chicken and biscuits I've had in a long time. However, I've noticed that lately, you haven't been including butter or jam with the biscuits. Could you please add that as an option in the sauces or something? It's been inconsistent lately whether it comes with them or not. Food: 5/5
It has very tasty and delicious dishes. They greet you very tolerantly when you enter. When I sat down at the table, they immediately offered a glass of cold water, which was very nice. You have the opportunity to order effortlessly from the table with a QR code. A very nice and good location chicken restaurant in los angeles.Vegetarian options: available for vegetarians.
It's disappointing because the restaurant's namesake didn't live up to expectations. The fried chicken was crispy but extremely dry, almost like it had been breaded and fried sawdust. On the other hand, the Mac and Cheese was fantastic. The large shell pasta holds onto the creamy cheese beautifully in its ridges.
Foods great, the chicken is amazing. BEWARE the Nashville hot chicken though that shi HURT ME. But it was also so tasty. Service was lovely and they have great people working there. Ambiance is... authentic for the area. You definitely get the full Fairfax vibe.
