Considering myself and a boyfriend had decided to go for dinner rather late the first night we came, we didn 't have much hope for finding a restaurant in El Vecindario what would be so accommodating. The staff were incredibly friendly and the restaurant itself has a beautiful authentic feel to it. Such a warm welcome from the restaurant owner really made the difference. We had ordered 'bagaje santaluceno ' from the specials and a tasting menu. Both were perfect choices and the presentation for the dishes you couldn 't fault. highly recommended, we were my partner and I on their recommendation and the atmosphere is spectacular. the best burger with homemade sauce that I have had the drip of the drip, with quality ingredients and served in its optimal measure, fries with the same sauce that makes you devour without compassion until the last crumb of the dish. They let me in with my dog and even put a bowl with water. the owners are very friendly and family, the decoration of the place makes you relax and forget the outside, the table service is fast and very cordial, with a presentation of the dish very appetizing. I will certainly be my place of worship on this island.
The most cozy bar on the island! I 've never seen in my life so much collections of tiny beautiful things, like ancient coins, and also Orgonites, some crystals with positive energy. They serve very tasty food, all home made with bio and local ingredients, I recommend you to try Bagaje Santaluceno , a local tapa , unique on the island, and also the Menu degustacion , made of 15 different tapas. They serve also a large variety of special beers, and like dessert, I 've tried the Tulipe, a home made icecream, incredibly tasty. I recommend this place from all my heart, I felt in love with the atmosphere and the old music, it makes you feel soo good!!

We visited pepe and his wife bc of the good reviews here on TripAdvisor. Its a older restaurant but u feel direct thats a lovely place with good energy. U can see that they try to serve fresh homemade food. Food which is not homemade is marked on card. We can recommend really the avocado with grilled jamon serano its taste really amazing and never before we eat that kind of combination. After the good food pepe explain us about the energy rocks in his restaurant we had a really nice talk and it was a great time.
Nice and cosy place. Friendly owners, very good food. We took 'menu degustación ' with 15 various specialities. And for the dessert the best thing I tried on Canarias: Polvito Uruguayo. You must try that!
It was such a nice experience to visit this restaurant. The food is really tasty and the atmosphere is so peaceful. The prices are reasonable. I definitely recommend everyone to go to this restaurant.
Surprising place and very tasty food. We tried 15 tapas menu and vegan menu. All menu is not translated in English but communication with owners is possible !
