When I requested a smoothie, the staff member appeared irritated that she had to go to another room to make it. I got the feeling she might have been the manager. Unfortunately, my request disrupted the two other orders my group had placed. They didn’t ask for payment before handing out the two yogurts, and while everyone else took their yogurts outside, I was left waiting to pay. Meanwhile, at least two parties behind me were checked out first. The staff seemed to be in quite a hurry, but the cashier did apologize sincerely.
The quality of service here has significantly declined in recent months. The staff seem unfamiliar with the company’s standard procedures, and when I asked questions, I was met with blank stares and "I'm new." However, they appear to be well-trained when it comes to processing credit card payments. I will definitely be returning to local ice cream shops in the Baltimore/Lutherville/Towson area instead of this location. I've never been so frustrated trying to buy ice cream; the experience simply isn't worth it.
