Our dinner at Sweet Lulaâs Restaurant in downtown Pitman was terrific. The ambience of Sweet Lulaâs canât be beat. Itâs comfortable and inviting. The staff, especially Louise and Dakota, are professional and friendly. Iâm not sure how he does it, but Chef Anthony made our meals like we were the only people in the restaurant â as if his only job was to cook for our table of two. We ordered the butternut squash soup and cranberry winter walnut salad for appetizers. The soup was creamy, hot, and tasty. The salad was crisp with fresh goat cheese, walnuts and lots of cranberries. Next, we ordered the jumbo lump crab cake which was large and fluffy. It contained lots and lots of crab along with a perfect remoulade sauce and spices. The pork tenderloin was served in a sweet port demi-glace. It was tender and tasty among the best Iâve ever had. All of this was complemented by our favorite wine â which we brought ourselves since Sweet Lulaâs is a BYOB. My only regret was that we didnât have any room left for dessert. Pitman is lucky to have such a high quality restaurant and you can bet weâll be back to explore more menu options at Sweet Lulaâs.
