The cashier had a really unpleasant attitude and wasn't friendly at all. It was quite hot in the restaurant, which might explain her demeanor, especially since her shirt was unbuttoned and I could see her bra. The baked chicken I ordered was undercooked and pink, and I had to wait about 35 minutes for my food. On a positive note, the sides were good, but the baked chicken did not live up to expectations, especially for such a long wait. I usually go for catfish or short ribs, but I won’t be trying the chicken again. I haven’t been there in a while, and it seems like the quality is slipping.
Thinking about the saying that good things do not last long? but I?m praying this restaurant is long lasting. I usually order ubereats from them and literally have never been disappointed? food is ALWAYS on point (please keep that chef around! and havenever messed up my order. I?ve picked up an order at the restaurant before and they were very friendly and efficient. There is abit of a wait for your food? BUT it?s because they?re usually always busy and plus food will be fresh and delicious when you getit, so it?s worth the wait. Just wanted to give a shout out that?s well deserved !

Make sure to check order before leaving. Their food is awesome! My dinners, fried stew chicken along with fried (fresh) fish. Greens not over cooked Mac-n-Cheese done very well ratio between noodles and cheese. Yams were on point, not too sweet orunder cooked. Cornbread, lovely portion. Banana pudding is tasty and didn't turn colour within 48hrs.

What a discovery! Everything we tasted was simply delightful—the sweet potato fries were unlike any we've had before, the mac and cheese was perfect, but the true highlights were the incredibly juicy fried chicken and the short ribs that were absolutely out of this world. We will definitely be returning!
I haven?t had Sweet Potatoes in over 8 years I remember why. The cornbread tasted too sweet and didn?t taste homemade. The catfish was okay but didn?t taste seasoned. The Mac and cheese was good but the collard greens tasted sweet. I don?t like sweetgreens. Food was packaged well.
The food here is very tasty and the service is friendly. But dine-in space was limited before Covid and not available now except on a special basis (they have a dining-in space a few doors down for groups). Order well in advance or be prepared to wait.
First time here and the food is good. Large portions! I had the fried whiting, collard greens, sweet potatoes and banana pudding. 5/5!

Some really great people work here and the food is consistently good . If you're thinking about trying them out. I say go for it
They changed the yams, the chicken wasn't seasoned and the string beans had a different taste that wasn't appealing.
