The food tastes great, no doubt about it. However, the prices don't seem to align with the portion sizes. Paying over $30 for two sandwiches with a side of bagged kettle chips feels quite expensive for a café. Typically, $15 for a sandwich and chips should come with higher expectations. That said, the food is delicious—you just need to be prepared to spend more than you normally would for café fare. Friendly staff: 10/10, Taste: 9/10, Value for price: 4/10.
Are you looking for something to do, or maybe try something new? Go out on an adventure to the small town of New London, MN. There is a wonderful little Cafe there called Sweet River Cafe. Our server was working her first Breakfast and she was fun andentertaining. Our food was delicious. The place has a Soda Shop feeling to it. Fresh cakes and pastries for the liking. So ifyou are in the area give it a try. It was worth it.
My wife and I really enjoyed lunch at Sweet River on a quiet Thursday afternoon in the week before Christmas. Such friendly and courteous staff! The food was a tremendous value. It was excellent. I had a basic chicken sandwich and loved it. I also had some of my wife's chicken wild rice soup. Yep, loved that too. Congrats on this great part of main street New London. Can't wait to visit again.

This café offers everything you could hope for from a traditional establishment! The staff is friendly and welcoming, and the freshly cooked food is incredibly tasty, all at café prices! You’ll definitely leave with a smile, and after just two visits, everyone will know your name. I highly recommend giving it a try—you’ll likely regret not having come here sooner!
Not sure where in the world do they find such great pastry chef at this little local diner. We ordered 7 different kinds of cake. All of them are incredible star chef quality cake. You need to pre order if you want an entire cake. I see that they havebeautiful little tarts as well
My favorite place to grab lunch when I visit my husband at work (unfortunately, we live in Wisconsin, so I can't come as often as I'd like) is this restaurant. The food is great, and the staff is awesome too!
At Cafe., the server’s incredible personality and attentiveness made us feel right at home. The menu features phenomenal food and pastries. Definitely a must-visit spot if you’re in the area!
