Great Place!. We decided to stop in at this place after getting off of the train in Oakville. This place is right across the street from the train station which makes it convenient for travellers. We walked in and waited about two minutes before we were greeted by the hostess. We were given a large booth near the window. After about three minutes, our server came over and introduced herself, asking us if we wanted any drinks. She was kind and courteous. We ordered our drinks and meals at that time as we had ample time to look at the menu. Our meals came within about ten minutes of us ordering it. My colleague, Steve, and I had lunch today at Swiss Chalet.<br/ <br/ I'd had the Cheesy Chicken Bacon Penne for lunch. I'd had it there last month and it was delicious ... cheesy and loaded with chicken and bacon. It was so delicious that I had it a couple days later at the Swiss Chalet near where I work and it was a disappointment ... it wasn't the same at all. Though there wasn't as much chicken or bacon as the last time I was there, today it was very good ... soooo cheesy. I had lunch today at Swiss Chalet. It's been a while since I've been to one. Wow! They've increased their menu!<br/ <br/ I ordered Baked Cheesy Chicken and Bacon Penne. The meal was huge and it was delicious! Huge chunks of tender chicken. I'd definitely get it again.<br/ <br/ Betty was our server and she took good care of us.

You can easily walk to this Harvey's and Swiss combo restaurant from the nearby Oakville Go Station. In addition to dining in, they also offer other convenient options such as curbside pickup and take-out.
