Our server Luca was an absolute joy!Not only did he survive the whole tour bus of people before us and still get to us quickly, he managed to keep up with us changing our minds back and forth on a large order, and even went above and beyond for me!At a joke about getting apple juice ...like I 'm six years old again haha , he offered to try and find me a kids cup. In the end he couldn 't find one, but I got a smaller cup instead and it made my day! Used to go to Swiss Chalet once in a while. Pre-Covid.Saw an ad... 2 can dine for 19.99 on Tuesdays. Thought I might check it out again. Then I notice that there is only chicken and starch in the meal, cole slaw used to be standard....not great.On top of that, the 19.99 is a lie.You are required to add at least $5 for sugar water to the tab. Which means you can 't dine for less than $25, plus HST.I would have paid for some kind of salad, but I don 't do soft drinks or juice, I drink water. The restaurant had very limited menu options as they were sold out of almost everything. It took an hour and a half to receive our food, and there were kids who were coughing and yelling loudly beside us throughout our meal. The presence of numerous flies and fruit flies was unpleasant, and I am surprised that this place has not been shut down yet. I had a bad experience years ago where everyone in my group got food poisoning, likely from E. coli or Salmonella, leading to two weeks of diarrhoea. Do not visit this restaurant if you have children. We were seated in a corner and waited for 20 minutes without a server approaching us. I had to ask the hostess if we had a server, and she assured me one would come. When the server finally did come, she asked for a minute and then proceeded to take orders and follow up with other tables. We waited for 30 minutes before deciding to leave. We are unsure if the poor service was due to the fact that we were the only table with children or because of our race. Disgusting amount of sauce on the stir fry, the chicken was liquid goop and tasted like it had gone bad, the vegetables were completely raw, everything was cold, and we received a container of solidified bacon fat. Overall disgusted, will never order here again.

Unbelievably small serving of chicken in the 1/4 chicken dinner dark meat. The leg looked like getting 2 wings. Almost no meat. Sauce was only warm, not hot. Fries were lukewarm and not crispy at all. Unlikely to go back. I used to like this place.
