4th time at this location. Very convenient and located right next to Value Mart where I shop. "I must mention " There is plenty of parking and maybe only 3 disabled parking spaces. This evening when we arrived someone picking up take-out parked in the last available disabled parking space. I noticed they did not have a permit. We had to park over by Value Mart and then Scooter over to Swiss Chalet. The hostess greeted us and when we were seated, Mary came and took our order. We had the $14.99 Special. We ate and we left. Lots of parking in the Valumart Plaza and convenient at the cross street of Cummer. I've had take out from here but ate in this time. There's a large dining room area up a step or two with lots of light, facing the parking lot. I like the newer menu with more pics. My guest had ribs and salad and I had a traditional chicken on a kaiser and salad. Both were excellent. Some locations lack in amount of chicken and runny sauce. This location was "bang on" with expectations of days gone by. Well done! Good food, good staff! :)
Yes, this is another in the Swiss Chalet chain. The menu is the same, the food is well cooked, the servings are plentiful, and the staff friendly. The wait staff work hard but seem to be able to keep a smile on their faces and the food and other items (e.g., finger bowls) coming as appropriate. This was my first visit to this location (Bayview and Cummer) and it was predictable, hot and delicious. The restaurant is in a small mall so there is lots of parking.
I often go to this restaurant. I was disappointed to find out that they no longer have fish and chips. There chicken dishes are always good. Tonight I got a veggie burger to take home. It was delicious. Good variety on the menu at a reasonable price.

After a disappointing attempt to have a celebration dinner at a local restaurant, we ended up at Swiss Chalet because we could depend on them. As usual, the service was good, and the 10 oz. roast beef was fabulous.
Chicken: As expected... terrific Fries: Best of many Seiss Chalets Service: The server's name was Denny. Sit in his section. Superb! Made a typical experience amazing. Parking: lots and free I'll be back!
Meals at Swiss Chalet are good value for money especially when you can use the 2 meals for $15.99 option. If you are a CAA member just show your CAA card to always get the 2 for $15.99 price.
