Swordfish Fish Grill

Potato Cakes and Real Scallops. Went here for a easy Saturday night dinner and ordered the seafarers pack with two pieces of flake, two scallops, two prawns, two potato cakes and chips served with lemon and tartare sauce. This also comes with two seafood sticks, which we were allowed to swap for two more potato cakes. The serve was generous, the batter crisp and not too thick and the seafood tasty. The scallops still had the roe attached. The potato cakes were old style, real potato with real potato shapes. Will be back next time we're craving fish and chips.

The fish and chips here are really good. The grilled flake is actually lightly crumbed before grilling which makes it stand out from the often slightly unappealing offerings elsewhere. The potato cakes are just the right thickness and all of the fried foods are crisp and fresh. Service is usually pretty quick too, at typically 10-15 minutes from order to pickup.

I frequently order lunch and dinner from this place. The staff are consistently friendly and efficient. The steak sandwiches and chicken burgers are both delicious and well-priced. The grilled flake is always flavorful and perfectly crumbed. The chunky, crispy chips never let me down. This is definitely the best fish and chip shop in the area!

Best... chips... ever.... Have been here a number of times. Last night we had the best chips ever... ask for them crunchy... they are then crunchy with the right amount of salt. The fish is always flaky and the other seafood succulent. Glad the old owners are back as they are the best... Réservez une table maintenant

We gave them a go and was very impressed. Nice crispy chips and flake. We ordered 4 flakes and one was slightly smaller and they gave another piece to make up, was pleasantly surprised. Good old school potatoe cakes too. Decent value. Shop was nice and clean- very important to us.

As a regular customer, I've consistently enjoyed the service and food during lunchtime. My favorite choice is the swordfish pack, which never disappoints. The fish and chips are always crispy and delicious, making it an affordable option that leaves me feeling satisfied.

Best fish n chips I've had in a long time! And those burgers... to die for! Friendly staff and extremely clean shop. The shop is back to its original management which is not something you see very often. I welcome this change! 10/10

Under the original management again and the place is producing quality flake and chips once again. It is clean and the staff are friendly and local.
