An all Australian habit, they are very attentive to the fauna and flora ... so much ... to allow the cute native birds from the sweet sparrows to the overbearing seagulls to flutter freely in the structure attracted by the smell of fish that pervades the air .. .. So while you order your meal, you will see these cute birds jumping from the counter to the kitchens, from the roof to the table and if you are distracted you will see them fly to your plate and steal your chips. Having said that ... the food is that of a fast food restaurant, certainly nothing exceptional, but that in any case satisfies you. A seagull actually stole my chips from my plate, but in a bistro near the harbor .. and wh...
Recently took my grandson for holiday in Sydney and high on his list was a visit to the Aquarium . This was my 3rd visit over the past 12 yrs and previous times I was very impressed so was looking forward to be taking my youngest grandson . We were so disappointed the facilities is now tired and rundown . However I. the management 's defense dome renovations have commenced , although this is a plus it was also a minus as it was school holidays and very busy so the renovations made it very crowded and restrictive. It is certainly worth a visit but my suggestion is to maybe a) try not to go in school holidays and b) check where they are up to with the renovations
At the aquarium cafe there is little choice who lost being overpriced I got the schnitzel burger for $12.00 with "regular chips and drink" the burger had half a schnitzel on it with it mostly being lettuce there was only about 15 chips for a regular which I found weird as it was only half full. There was no seasoning on the chips and the top of my Coke had lemon squash on it!Would recommend finding so where else to have lunch!
Pretty average, luckily we didn't pay full price or I would have been really disappointed! Lots of exhibits closed which they don't tell you about beforehand. Only good thing was timing it right, as we went very late afternoon on a weekday so it was very quiet. Réservez une table maintenant
