Slow service and illegal extra charges went in and the place was a tip all tables filled with dirty plates and dishes. Waited for ages as they woman in charge was shouting at the rest of the staff to do something. Waited some more, half an order took while she then left me and took another order. Ordered the ‘Synges porridge with honey, fruit and porridge £4.75 on the menu. Got chargers an extra £1, when k asked why I got told ‘toppings are extra’. Clearly the porridge dish was listed on the menu with the toppings, got told ‘take it up with head office’ A really nice place, let down by terrible service staff, who charge you extra which is disgusting really as they don’t tell you. Don’t go.
My experience at this restaurant for breakfast was disappointing. I ordered the breakfast soda and avocado smash with coffee. When asked about the soda flavor, the server seemed confused and the avocado smash was not as described on the menu - missing key ingredients and lacking freshness. When I requested the missing items, the server brought something completely different. Overall, I recommend avoiding this place and trying somewhere else.
that's a top spot. whether they work locally or make a shopping spot or how we have made a break on the way to donegal, the world needs more box stops like these. a large selection of grub from light to large fat accessories, coffee with tablet baker or scones, it is all the first class. but the best, the environment. before covid the tables were very far away and offer them plenty of space and private sphere. we love it!
We visited the restaurant for lunch on a Sunday. The chicken pie was average, the salads were disappointing, but the caramel square was unexpectedly delicious. One of the female staff members was knowledgeable and efficient, while the others appeared disinterested and unorganized. The service was exceptionally poor and I have seldom experienced such lack of attention to detail. Réservez une table maintenant
This restaurant used to be a high-quality establishment, but it has recently declined in quality. The food was very poor, with cold and undercooked waffles that were supposed to come with berry compote and yogurt. However, the compote was just dried currants and the yogurt was expired. The waffles were dry and unpleasant to eat.
