Driving down county for my fiancee"s rotator cuff ambulatory surgery at 6 AM in Rye we got up at 4:45 an ungodly hour. I visited this charming family-run diner for breakfast, and it truly had a warm and inviting atmosphere. Although they market themselves as a lunch spot, it felt like a cozy breakfast haven. The diner features stools and four tables in the back for larger groups. We arrived at 10 o'clock, and the back area was empty when we got there. The staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming. Ate here for the first time while in area. Very good food. Extensive menu. Very nice old fashioned luncheonette with a handful of tables in back but mostly counter tops. Very nice older women manage it. The food is homemade and not cooked in a quick fashion. Can’t wait to try their breakfast from what I read.

I absolutely love this restaurant! The staff is incredibly friendly, and the atmosphere feels very welcoming, almost like home. Whenever I'm working nearby, I always make it a point to stop in for a meal and enjoy some great conversations. Food: 5/5!
Great food and service. The staff was very attentive and all 3 waitresses consistently checking on us. The pancakes were perfect! Its an old school place so dont go there if you’re looking for nice decor!
