I have been coming to this restaurant for at least 12 years. In one simple conversation they have lost a customer.The day started when we ordered 2 sandwiches and asked for no mayo and mustard but oil and vinegar. We got the sandwiches and to our surprise there was only meat cheese and bacon. No toppings like onions. We were extremely disappointed so we called the store and the daughter said that that is what we said we wanted and we can take the sandwiches back. We said no and we were just disappointed since we have been going there for years and left it like that.This is the part that caused them to loose a loyal customer. I traveled from Utah to visit family in LP, and my wife had a craving for a French Dip. TJs was one of the few places in the SGV that offered them, so we decided to give it a try. We were not disappointed at all! Each time we're back in LP, we'll be sure to stop by for some French Dips. The food was fresh and made to order, and the woman at the counter, whom I believe was the owner, was very friendly. The bread had just the right amount of crunch, and the meat along with the au jus was delicious. I highly recommend this spot to anyone looking for a quality and affordable lunch.

Love this place. You can't go wrong with any of the subs. My go-to sub is the shrimp sub or the turkey avocado. This is the best sandwich place in la puente.
