Great place to stay for a night, but I would go elsewhere if I needed a place to work or be comfortable long term. Perfect on the price and location front and we loved the study style lounge and restaurant area. I tend to avoid restaurants connected to hotels unless I am there for convenience, but this place was worth making some time to try. We had the worst experience here. We were gifted a free night and meal at the restaurant from one of my favorite actresses and were excited based on the reviews. Instead we could not get a good night's rest. The person/people in the room next to us kept knocking on the door waking us up and claiming we had something called hooka? Lovely hotel! Caveat: no elevators. If that's an issue, stay elsewhere. If not, you might fall in love with this place, as I did. I’ve been a long time patron at the Tabard… always loved their warm quirky atmosphere which lends to both formal and informal attire. The food was never a 5 star rating but good for the price. It wasn’t until the past couple of years that I started noticing a fast decline. After a few highly disappointing experiences, I finally gave up. Fish was totally over cooked, presentation was sloppy, service was horrible. It’s too sad! I miss the old Tabard!! Réservez une table maintenant
Loved the place! Is a great spot very close to a lot of attractions, embassies, nightlife, and great restaurants (Tabard Inn is already an amazing restaurant itself) After a great night of sleep in their comfortable beds and clean showers brunch at Tabard is delicious Loved the Corned beef hash with a mimosa. Customer service is 10/10 in all matters. Don?t miss out on the best spot in DC that will come back!
The restaurant here is amazing! I travel a lot, and always want to go to unique places. This hit every mark I was looking for. When I go to new places I try to find good food and good atmosphere. Usually my searches only have one of these qualities. It is a good thing that this was the last place I went to in D.C. because I would have kept coming back, and not got to explore. I highly recommend.
I returned here to celebrate my birthday this year after being introduced to this wonderful restaurant during our 1st year dating. I love the food, ambiance and customer service. I love the outdoor eating space!
I haven't stayed at the hotel but went for drinks after work. Lovely cozy atmosphere, wonderful server, and the wine and cheese board were delicious. Also enjoyed the live music. Réservez une table maintenant
