Taberna De Alberto

Based on other reviews this seemed like the obvious place to start for the classic Santona experience of snacking on high quality local food with good wine in a (very) basic cafe setting. Alberto’s did not disappoint. Staff were very helpful to the only non-Spanish Family in here and were patient with our attempts to order. There is a large chalk board that runs the length of the bar. You choose from a menu of cheeses, meats, anchovies (this is the anchovy capital of Spain) and a few other options. You can either order a full portion or a half. Anchovies come in small tins (1/8 is the smallest size) or larger ones. You get some bread and order wine by the glass (you can purchase bottles too)...

En resumen, un bar de barrio con un producto bueno, muy bueno, auténtico, sencillo y sin relleno. Te diré que es mi felicidad. un gesto tan simple como atrapar un palo de madera y aprisionar una anchura de lata, mojar un pan de pan en su aceite, que es puro néctar de los dioses y la boca. fresa la copa de vino blanco de fresa y volver a empezar. probamos el queso de tres visos, león cecina (cortado al momento en la máquina como los de la charcutería). Pedimos las latas por pura curiosidad. sabor que me recordó a calamares en salsa americana. No lo recomiendo, ni fu ni fa. precios jotos. amplia variedad de vinos para calmar la sed de los feligreses y turistas.

If you have walked in the streets of Santoña, you won't forget the smell and the boutiques selling anchovies. This bar has a set of Asturian and Cantabric cheeses served with the Santoña anchovies. Original. And great taste. It was difficul at the beginning to find since it was relocated. Simply ask locals. Réservez une table maintenant

las mejores anchoas de los santos. Tal vez este bar no es muy atraído, pero dentro de sí mismo esconde las anchoas de los santos. Puedes comerlos directamente allí o llevar la lata a tu casa. Atención: las tardes del domingo cierran, adjunto el horario.

Very good service and the best anchoas of town with unbeatable prices.The cheese picon is like a blue cheese is very good plus the quality of the wine is good.Take those 2 tapas and then go somewhere else.

super recomendado! el olor nada más entrar queso nos ganó. No lo cambio por el menú típico. Tasca auténtica, con un par de raciones que se comen y super precio. Réservez une table maintenant
