We have walked passed this restaurant many a time, but decided to go in and give it a go. My husband had been craving ribs, but they didn't actually have them on the menu this time. We both decided to have fillet steak instead. These were cooked to absolute perfection by the chef Chema ,on a charcoal grill. Probably one one of the best tasting steaks we'd had in a very long time. We loved that it came with a bowl of sea salt flakes, as well as the sauces we had chosen. The older gentleman Manolo who served us was a really funny guy, along with Mirabela, who was lovely. I'm so glad we didn't walk by this place. It should be packed every night with the quality of food and service we received. Will definitely be our go to place, whenever were in San Pedro.
Really wanted to love this place as never been and never been and on my doorstep. Shared a prawn PIL PIL. Average taste. Hardly any garlic more tomAto based. Daughter had steak. I had lamb chops. Steak was tough even though med rare. Tiny portion of chips. I thought my meal was a kids meal. Five chops with a medallion on each the size of a euro coin. Tiny. Meatless tasteless. Such a. Shame. Lovely service but even when I said chops were sub Standard I got a shrug and no ‘let me Get the manager’. Sadly won’t go back. As wasn’t cheap. Don’t mind paying for great food but this sadly was not even good
Sadly the food did not surpass any more than average. The pill pill has small prawns little sauce and is very bland, lacked any seasoning. We then had 2 fillet steaks and 2 entrecote, the fillets looked nice, but the entrecote was hard, gristly, fatty, and tasteless. Thus 2/5. The service, on the other hand, was really good, friendly, helpful and very attentive. But to have a great restaurant you need the no1 to be great food followed by great service, the food here, is a letdown. I wish i could be more honest but that's why the restaurants around here are all so much busier!
We are on summer hols in San Pedro so decided to go for steak for dinner here. We ordered filet steak which was absolutely tasteless, it came already sliced, over cooked with burnt charcoal bits and with lots of grissle, it definitely wasn’t a filet steak, more like a cheap steak frites!! And this was 30 euros just for the steak !! Total rip off with a few cold fries on the side which you order separately. The staff were rude and inattentive. If you’re in San Pedro, go to da Bruno’s for a steak, much better food ,better price and atmosphere!!
